For Sage Abra Suite- U.S. Edition only. Meet virtually every U.S. tax management and reporting need. Abra Payroll offers highly robust tax management features, including automatic quarterly updates of tax tables and electronic media reporting for all states. It supports federal, state, and over 2000 local tax jurisdictions, federal and state income, unemployment, disability taxes, workers compensation, ACH credit transaction files, and more. An optional tax filing service through Sage Compliance Services is also available for use with Abra Payroll. In addition, meet your government reporting needs with standard report including Form 941, 1099-MISC reports, pre-close reports of employee deductions, earnings, taxes, quarterly-tax and wage-filing reports, gross-to-net detail reports, leave status reports, and much more.
Comprehensive Reporting & Compliance
With over 100 built-in reports, five included Crystal® Reports licenses, customizable Crystal Reports® templates and the easy-to-use Abra Secure Query report writer, Abra Payroll empowers your organization with quick and easy access to complete government and management reporting and analysis.
Check Printing
Preview and print standard & customized checks and direct deposit advices for selected pay groups with a few clicks of a mouse. You can print separate checks for different earning types, preview checks before printing, suppress certain fields from printing, and save time with optional laser signature and MICR options.
Direct Deposit
Direct deposit is included with Abra Payroll – it support unlimited direct deposit accounts for each employee, as well as automatic ACH file creation. You can even distribute funds to a combination of check and direct deposit, and designate a deposit sequence for multiple direct deposit accounts.
Earnings and Deductions
Guided interviews make it easy to set up unlimited earnings and deductions codes to meet the needs of your unique organization. Abra Payroll supports a wide variety of earning types, including base pay earnings, premium pay earnings, tax-only earnings, and allows you to manage these earnings with user-defined allocation and accrual rules. You can also define unlimited deductions for each employee and easily manage them with rules such as withholding frequencies, employer matching, and accumulating in arrears.
Payroll Employee Self-Service
When Abra Payroll is used with Sage Abra ESS, employees can manage a variety of personal payroll information. They can view paycheck details, pay history, payroll deductions, tax withholdings [W-4] and W-2’s. Employees can even view and print pay stubs, and authorize W-4 form changes with digital signatures.
Integration
Seamless integration to Abra HR eliminates duplicate data entry, simplifies reporting and automatically links benefit plans in HR to deductions in payroll. Abra Payroll interfaces with most major accounting packages and most timeclock systems.
